  1. Jenna, your visual model connects to my thinking about how the size of the whole can be different. I like that you gave an example connected to cakes. I wonder how half of those cakes wouldn't be equal? Can you show that?

  4. Aayushi, your thinking is connected to mine because I drew a model of 2 different sizes of model too. You did well on showing your work clearly by drawing a model.

  6. My thinking connects to Aayushi's because if it's different size then it's not equal. Aayushi's did well on explaining because she did short sentences. Also that I can understand and a drawing/model.

  7. My thinking is connected to my classmates thinking because I also talked about the sizes of 2 different wholes not being equal. I think that they did a good job and I agree when they say it matters.

  8. I think in Alice's work, I saw her talking about equivalent fractions and she had of them had a model. In my opinion I think me and Alice had a similar thinking.

  10. I like how you put it in words, pictures and numbers. it connects to my thinking because I put mostly pictures in my exit slip to, it changes my thinking because I thought there was only one way, pictures, but now I don't. How long did it take?

  11. Cathy, your explaining connects mine that you can't compare a really small whole to big one.

  12. Jenna your thinking connects to my thinking i agree that the size dose mater. I also think you should make an example. If the big cake is one whole how is the smaller cake one whole.
